The second generation BlueChart G2 marine cartography features smooth layering and better integration of map graphics for easy planning, scrolling and zooming. It features richer colours and shading for easier interpretaion and improved visibility. Also it adds more detail on land features, coastal roadways, marine services and municipal areas.

There's useful data on tide and currents - plus familiar IALA navaid symbology. A world wide database of high quality photo content gives "real picture" reference on many harbours. ports, marinas and coastal features. Plus a choice of standard 2D direct overhead or 3D "over the bow" map perspective makes chart reading and orientation easier.
