For motorboat owners who want the ultimate in control and safety, Garmin's new GHP10 autopilot system delivers powerful performance in any sea condition. The GHP 10 is approved for Mercury Varado outboards and works with all types of hydraulically steered powerboats - inboards, outboards and stern drives.
The GHP 10's patented Shadow Drive technology lets you make manual course changes from the helm without manually disengagin the autopilot or "wrestling" the system for control. Simply turn the wheel for an instant course change. Once you have steered the boat onto its new course, release the helm and the GHP 10 will automatically resume control. With its aerospace derived technology and G-limited gyro turn control the GHP10 responds effortlessly and safely at virtually any speed. It can easily be set to hold position against wind, waves or heavy current.

- Patented Shadow Drive technology - allows users to make manual course changes without manually disengaging the autopilot
- No failure prone rudder angle sensor needed - calculates rudde command from a combination of compass, gyro and engine inputs
- Stress-free turns based on the G-force felt by its included rate gyro
- GHP 10 autopilot includes one GHC 120 helm contro display - up to three GHC 10's can be interfaced to a single GHP 10 autopilot system
